Yefeng MA is a Ph.D. student from the Institute of Public Safety (IPSR) at Tsinghua University and is interested in crisis management and emergency planning. Her doctoral research focuses on context awareness and decision making in emergency response. She also has great interest in social vulnerability and human-organization-government behaviors in crisis management.
Yefeng is currently working on a National Science Foundation of China (NSFC) project titled “Scenario-Response Based Emergency Management Integration Platform Development,” which is led by her supervisor Hui ZHANG at Tsinghua University. The project aims at developing the current National Emergency Response Platform (ERP) in China.
Yefeng holds a bachelor’s degree in safety engineering from the Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and has won the National Scholarship for Excellent College Students in 2007, 2008, and 2009.
