MA Ben is an associate professor and director of the Department of Administration at the School of Political Science and Public Administration, Shandong University. He is also an adjunct researcher at the Center for Crisis Management Research at the School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University. His major research covers public crisis management, democracy theory, and democratic governance. In addition to publishing academic articles and international conference papers, he has been awarded grants to perform research projects sponsored by the Chinese National Social Science Foundation and other organizations.
