LIU Xiaobiao is the communications director of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC). Previously, he was a journalist and editor at China Radio International and served as the project leader of China’s National Social Science Fund project“The Status Quo Research of International News in China.” From 2004 to 2005, he was a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley. Past articles include “The CCP Congress Report on Lexical Revisions Over Last 30 Years,” and “Marketing Nationalism in China.”
